A Mother’s Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus,

As I rest in Thee may peaceful moments flow, in knowing I gave my best this day to help my children grow, Give me blessed calm assurance, in all decisions I had to make, In knowing I did my best this day, Help me learn through each mistake. Teach me Thy ways of wisdom, Lead me in paths that are right, Help me to always seek Ye first and trust in the power of Thy might. A virtuous woman flowing in grace, pure is my garment as I seek Thy face, As You give me wisdom, I shall improve, I pray with each step You will approve, I’ll speak pleasant words so sweet to each soul, in You Lord I find I’m learning control, my delicate frame shining so bright, shall gracefully flow with Thy power and might. My smile lights the darkness so others may see, my touch heals what’s broken as I give to Thee, My hearts filled with riches more precious than gold, With love for my family new treasures unfold, Blessed is my home in all that I give, I’ll walk in Thy ways in each day I live, I shall build up my home and never tear down, In sweet one accord Thy peace shall surround, I’ll walk in Thy presence and each step will flow, A scent of Thy fragrance wherever I go…

Lord Jesus, Give me courage for all tomorrows, Strength for each new day, Faith when I am fearful, I know Thy Love will make a way. In Thy Precious name. Amen and Amen

Every wise woman builds her house Prov.14:1A By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; Proverbs 24:3A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Proverbs 31:10, 25-28 She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her.

May this prayer encourage every mother on this special day I honor you for all your love and endless efforts. I know it isn’t easy to raise little ones in this day and age and I pray God will continue to strengthen you and pour His richest blessings on you and your family.
