+I Refuse to let the spirit of fear over take me

+I Receive God’s Love in His Promise and I Trust Him

+I Release the Power of the Holy Spirit to take over

+I Rest in His Promise of a sound mind

After I read 11 Timothy 1:7 that God does not give the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind I was inspired to write this message. Just a few days after it I received a phone call from a family member who informed me of a serious matter. When I got off the phone this scripture came to my mind and I read through the steps and applied them to my life. That day could have been a disaster for me if I was to allow my mind to get carried away in fearful thinking. But instead I trusted God in His promise.

+I refused to let the spirit of fear overtake me. I would not enable it to implant fearful thoughts that would cause my mind to be frantic. I did not lose control of my emotions, but I let Jesus take control of the whole situation.

+I released the power of the Holy Spirit God has given me and rebuked all fear.

+I received the promise of God’s love and I know I am His and He is mine and I can trust Him.

+I put my mind to rest on His promise of peace and soundness of mind and let the waves of tranquility flow…

I went on with my plans that day and I have to admit the Lord blessed me with an awesome day regardless of the news. I believe it is from the power of His word applied to my life. God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. He always makes a way to escape temptation and that includes fleeing from fear when it hits us. It is a natural reaction to become fearful at first when something occurs beyond what we can handle. But that’s when we can stand on God’s word and apply the power of His promise to work on our behalf to overcome our natural response. As we respond with the spiritual tools God has designed for us in His word His power ignites a fire to burn every fearful thought. When we do, we will overcome and live in victory instead of defeat. By the way the serious matter I was informed about ended up working out. The devil wants us to live down under so he can get in a few extra punches. But God has given us authority over him to rise up and take him down for the only place he should stay is under our feet. All else can pass me by for as I draw near to Him, He draws near to me and my heart and my mind are set free. His grace abounds like rivers rushing through my weary soul. I am strengthened by His Spirit to reach the heavenly goal Nothing shall ever separate or ever come between Jesus and I, Our perfect bond of love is beyond my every dream There is no one or nothing else that matter besides Him, He excels above all gods He’s the truth the Life, the only way.

My desire is to keep my mind fixed on Him alone. When I draw near to Him, He draws near to me. I will focus my mind on heavenly things and be constantly in pursuit of qualities that characterize the life of Jesus Christ. My heavenly goal is to please Him in all things, and I will push aside anything that gets in my way. I pray my eyes are enlightened to see who I am in Christ. I pray my mind is renewed with positive thoughts removing all negativity. I will meditate on His word building my faith and confidence in Him. I believe each word will saturate my heart and flow unto others as I move forward to all God has planned for me. In Jesus name

Let this be the prayer of our heart and the declaration of our faith in Jesus and each word flows with love for our Lord and Savior. God bless you,

~+ This a word from the Lord He has put it on my heart for you receive it with an open heart…I believe in this new season, God has great things in store for His people. Do you believe He can do the impossible for you? His word says it and I believe it and it won’t return to Him void and meaningless but will accomplish more than you’ve ever dreamed. Let Him fill your cup full to overflowing. Don’t let anything or anyone stop you from receiving God’s best for you! Don’t let negative talk hold you back from moving forward to His perfect plan for you. He is going to move in your life beyond all your expectations. In fact, He is going to do things for you beyond what you are thinking right now. He is not a respecter of persons He doesn’t play favorites so if you think He has nothing for you because of your past mistakes you are so wrong. You are His delight He has created you for His glory and He is excited to give you the desires of your heart. He wants to heal you and meet all of your needs. So as of this moment let go of those doubts and fears and take up your shield of faith and step into all He has called you to be. What He has said He will do, and He has gone before you and prepared the way for you to follow. listen to His voice say this is the way, walk ye in it”

Dear Abba Father,

Explore and achieve God’s great possibilities for you. Believe in yourself and all you can do through HIM. Phil.4:13

He is working things out for you and allows struggles to happen and as you endure, they stretch your character and strengthen your heart to be more like Him. It may not feel pleasant at the time but Praise Him and give Him thanks for there will be a glorious outcome from it all. Think back to where you were and how far God has brought you and all the things, He has done for you. The enemy knows your weakness and he will do all he can to attack you in that area but don’t give him a chance. Submit to God and draw close to Him and resist the devil and he will have no choice but to flee. James 4:7 Praise God for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. 1John 4:4

Lord Jesus, Since I live by the Spirit, I will keep in step with the Holy Spirit all the way. I will remind myself of who I am in Christ. I will remember all You have done for me. I will resist the devil and he will flee. Thank You Jesus Amen

Take courage and embrace it. Trust in God and Him alone. When fear comes knocking on the door, don’t answer but stand strong in your faith. Don’t trust your feelings for they are like the winds blowing on the sea, waves can rise with joy then suddenly crash with fear and doubt.

~Rest in the Peace of God as He comforts your soul

~Relax all your emotion and let Faith rule as you trust Him

~Refuse to listen to negative talk and thoughts

~Renew your mind with positive good things

~Release the Restoration of your soul and mind and God’s peace will lift you high above every stressful situation. Speak this promise into existence…

~I will not be anxious in anything, but I will seek God in prayer with a thankful heart and share with Him all that is going on and His peace which is greater and beyond understanding will fill me and guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6–7

Lord Jesus, Help me not to be anxious but to rest in Your peace. Relax all my emotion and let faith rule, as I put my trust in You. I will renew my mind with good things and be thankful. In Your precious name, Amen.

Whatever you are facing today give it all up to God and He will take care of it for you. He will guide you to greater wonders as you let Him have His way.

Psalm 42:5 says, Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him. For the help of His countenance.

We are not always going to feel like praising the Lord. There will be times when we feel down, but that is the time to rise up, set our emotions aside and praise Him anyway. Let the deep part of our heart call out to the deep part of His.

In Psalms 42:7,8

Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;

All Your waves and billows have gone over me

The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime

And in the night His song shall be with me.

How beautiful as we call out to Him and He fills us to overflowing with His living waters. I was inspired to write…

Jesus, Calls me out upon the waters I long to walk deeper than I have ever known before, As my eyes look into His, I shall have no fear, I’ll reach out and give Him my hand, Take me Lord, I’m Yours, As I step out You lift me high above every wave, My feet dance with You in Your warm embrace, My heart will stay with my eyes fixed on You now and forevermore. Let us walk out deeper and bask in the beauty of His living waters and as they spring up like fountains we are refreshed and revived in the depths of our soul. “O Bless our God you people and make the voice of His praise to be heard. Who keeps our soul among the living and does not allow our feet to be moved. For You O God have tested us, You have refined us as silver is refined, You brought us into the net You laid affliction on our backs, You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; BUT You brought us out to RICH FULFILLMENT.” Psalms 66:8-12 NKJV

There are times we are tested and tried through the fire. We may not understand but through it all, He is refining and preparing us for the future plan He has in mind. It is not an easy road, but in the end, He will bring us out of the fire to rich fulfillment. It doesn’t mean we will be rich in the natural, but there is a spiritual richness beyond, that we can live every day above this world’s existence. It can’t compare to the riches of the world, for they can’t satisfy the depths of our inner soul like God can. There is a greater peace and satisfaction in relationship with the Lord that none other could ever accomplish in material things. Let us bless our God, for our souls are kept safe and secure in Him, and our feet shall not be moved. Allow the fiery trials to refine and refresh and renew your relationship with the Lord. It’s in the fire when He protects you and carries you through it all. As You draw near to Him and He draws near to you, He will bring you to the assignment He has designed for you, so He may be glorified.

In Psalms 105: 19 it talks of Joseph who was sold as a slave and they hurt his feet with fetters. He was laid in irons. Until the time that his word came to pass the word of the Lord tested him. Joseph remained faithful and kept his trust in the Lord even though he did not understand what was going on. We are to do the same until it is time for His word to be fulfilled in our life, then we too will reach the destiny He has planned. So, remain strong and keep your trust in the Lord for He is faithful to His word and will never fail you.

In Isaiah 52:12b it says, For the Lord will go before you and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. He goes before you and has made the way possible for you to reach the destiny He has in store for you. He is also your rear guard, He’s got your back and there’s nothing to fear. Praise God for this word, and may it encourage you to not give up but to keep moving forward to all He has planned for you. Love & Blessings, Lollita

Lord Jesus,

Every wise woman builds her house Prov.14:1A By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; Proverbs 24:3A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Proverbs 31:10, 25-28 She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her.

( I found this picture to be so appropriate for this prayer, I can see at the end of the day this young mom at rest on her child’s swing with a flower in her hand she received from her little one and taking time to seek the Lord as she reflects upon the day)

May this prayer encourage every mother on this special day I honor you for all your love and endless efforts. I know it isn’t easy to raise little ones in this day and age and I pray God will continue to strengthen you and pour His richest blessings on you and your family. In the times when GOD is silent let HIM work in you a greater revelation of all you can be through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Let HIM mold you with a deeper insight into HIS word. Ps.119:67,

Let HIM renew your joy beyond your circumstances Hab.3:16-19

Let patience grow as you wait on HIM. Ps.27:14, James 1:4-8

Focus not on your present problems but on the future glory that shall be revealed through you as you endure to overcome. What a glorious outcome to dwell on. Romans 8:18

LISTEN to what GOD tells you in HIS word let His principles mold your perspective.

LEARN to respond biblically and not emotionally to every problem.

LEAN on the LORD and HE will help you to solve them. HE allows temporary problems to build within you permanent benefits of a deeper dependency on HIM. You will receive a calm peaceful assurance in knowing that HE will keep HIS every promise. If we didn’t have a problem how would we know that GOD could solve them? Through each one we become aware of His amazing grace that carries us through to the end. They teach us to patiently wait on GOD and let HIM have His perfect way instead of stepping ahead of HIM and out of His plan. Sometimes when we don’t wait and go ahead and do what we think is best it takes a little longer to arrive at the place where HE wants us to be. Then the result is we are back to the beginning again to start all over but that’s okay because through it all HE loves us and is still there beside us waiting patiently to lead and guide us every step of the way till we arrive on that day. So, let us take courage and stand on HIS word and as we die to self each day and soak in the beauty of His grace through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT we shall live abundantly and move miraculously and be fulfilled in our whole being, body, soul and spirit. Acts 17:28 Hallelujah!

The Lord inspired me with the scriptures in Jude 18,19,20,21,24,25.

In verse 18 it says in the last time there will be mockers who walk according to their own ungodly lusts, they cause divisions not having the Spirit.

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. How beautiful as I meditated on them and applied them to my life.

I will BUILD up myself on my most holy Faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.

I will KEEP myself in the love of God

I will LOOK for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

I will also SHOW mercy (compassion) to others

I will GIVE GLORY to HIM who is able to KEEP me from falling

He presents me faultless, before the presence of HIS glory

With exceeding JOY. To God our Savior, who alone is wise,

Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, both now and forever.

Amen. It is important to keep in the love of God and not get distracted with other things but stay focused on Him. When I KEEP myself in the love of God, He KEEPS me from falling. What a wonderful thought and as I continue to BUILD myself up and PRAY in the Holy Spirit, He presents me faultless in the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. I will LOOK for His mercy and I will be merciful to others for He shows mercy to me.  Then the Lord brought to my attention Lamentations3:22,23 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions they fail not they are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul. Therefore, I hope in HIM. Let us be encouraged with this word and continue to build and strengthen our souls.

Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your word, Help me to feed upon Your word daily. I will build up myself and pray in the Holy Spirit. Help me to keep walking in Your ways. May I be aware of Your love and mercy towards me and show Your love and mercy to others. Thank You for Your faithfulness. In Your precious name, Amen +~

At the beginning of my journey through trying times the Lord told me to rejoice. It was all new to me, but I’ve learned over the years it pays off to rejoice no matter how difficult things get in life. Through it all I was inspired to write the poem, Yet I Will Rejoice, as you see in the picture.

In Hab.3:17-19

It mentions Habakkuk the prophet was going through trying times and everything around him was not good but in the midst of it all in verse 18 he says,

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength. He will make my feet like deer’s feet. And He will make me walk on my high hills. In other words, as we rejoice in the Lord even when we don’t feel like it, God will come through for us. He will honor us as we trust in Him and lift us high above every circumstance that tries to bring us down.

Lord Jesus, Help me not to look at my struggles but keep my eyes on You and focus my mind on Your word. I trust You Lord that You will do all You say in Your perfect time, so I let go right now of what tries to bring me down. I give it all to You and rejoice even when I don’t feel like it for, I know my feelings will follow. Lift me up to Your higher place where my heart longs to stay. Thank You Jesus, I will rest in Your love and believe Your every promise. Amen and Amen

On my journey as I learned my value and worth to the Lord, I am His treasured possession as it says in Deuteronomy 14:2 and it doesn’t matter what others think of me. They can laugh or say all manner of evil against me and it’s okay because God loves me, and no one can stand against me.

I may have flaws, but I am valuable

I make mistakes, but I confess and correct them

I may not be what you’d like me to be

But I am loved by God who is still working on me

He matters to me more than anyone else

I am His and He is mine, I live for Him only

I dwell with Him in the secret place and pour my heart out to Him.

Lord Jesus, My lips greatly rejoice when I sing to You And my soul as well, which You have redeemed. I will talk of Your righteousness all day long. And those who seek to hurt me will be confounded and ashamed. Psalms 71:23,24.

I will press on towards the mark for the prize of the high calling

I will press in to please Him and no longer please others

I will run the race set before me and push all aside and out of my way

So, I may reach the destiny my God has planned for me

I am blessed to bless others

I am comforted so I may comfort others

I will live to love and give, to receive His approval

For to me, first and foremost, He is all that matters.

Remind yourself of who you are in Christ and how valuable you are to Him. Since God is for you no one can come against you. Love & blessings, Lollita Faith

In Psalms chapter 92 verse 13 says Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. Verse 14, They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing. Well I’m standing on that promise for me and going to hold onto it and live it, I won’t settle for less. God said it and I believe it… How to keep fresh and flourishing…

In Psalms 16 verse 8 shows us that David always considered God and not just in time of need. “ I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand I will not be shaken.” I will rest in Hope…it goes on to say in verse 9, “Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh shall also rest in hope.”   Then in verse 11, “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fulness of joy. At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

I will keep my trust in Him…Prov.3:5,6

I will keep on living and moving in Him and rely on His strength not mine. Phil. 4:13

My spirit is renewed daily I’ll keep refreshed and revived in the spirit moment by moment. 2 Corinthians .4:16

We are spirit beings and we can still bear fruit as we grow older as we keep in mind our youthful spirit is fresh and flourishing. It will take work on our parts to keep in tune with the Lord daily and stay focused on the spiritual realm we walk in everyday and not our flesh. Let’s keep our fruit fresh and flourishing as we blossom with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness and self-control.

{I wanted to add an Excerpt from my book “Beauty for Ashes”} When you reach a certain age in life, they say you are “OVER the HILL” Nice…I have finally reached that plateau in life and it is not at all what people make it out to be. I am over the hill to a happier place and believe it or not this chapter of my life is the happiest I’ve ever been and I’m making the most of it. It is society that dictates and defines what a person should be as they grow old. But hey I’ve arrived and it’s not true. Don’t follow the mindset of being old and now it’s over. If you Think it, you are going to Believe it and Live it till you are given your last rights. Remember as long as you can breathe on your own you are significant. God has a purpose and plan for you at whatever age you are so get over it and enjoy your moment in time every day.

Now getting back to OVER THE HILL…It is a phrase written to somewhat amuse, but I perceive it to have some truth in it for me anyway because I am now…

~OVER my low self-esteem

~OVER worrying about what people think

~OVER trying to please others

~OVER trying to be something I’m not

~OVER with people trying to control me

~OVER coming my weaknesses and failures

~OVER my past and look forward to my future

~OVERcomer- I am born of God and believe Jesus is the Son of God. I have overcome the world And this is the victory that has overcome the world- our Faith 1John5:4,5 ref : NKJV

They also say when you get older you are wiser…

I would say there is some truth in that statement because…

As you grow older  ~you learn to appreciate the things you took for granted

~you value each moment in life so much more because you don’t know when your last moment will arrive

~you learn so much from all the experience you endured & when you see someone about to enter that same door you did you want to warn them but can’t because they are on a journey of their own and they need to learn and grow through their own experience.

~+ So, if you are at this stage in life celebrate the new you as you enter a new beginning in the art of growing older, ageless and youthful through the glory of His grace.+~

The True Art of Aging is the truth in God’s word…

A…I will accept who I am in Christ and acknowledge all that I can do and be through Christ. I will allow my inner spirit to overcome the natural.  I am ageless in the spirit because it is being renewed day by day. 2 Cor.4:16

R…I will renew my way of thinking for my youth is renewed and I will refresh and revive my whole being as I walk in the spirit. Psalms 103:5

T…I will Trust in the Lord with all my heart and Train myself to Think youthful for my time here is temporal. I will Treasure my gift of the Holy Spirit within me and be Thankful.  Prov.3:5,6

Remember God used many older men and women to do great and mighty things in the bible, so it is not over for you till God says it’s over. Enjoy life to the fullest with a renewed mindset and meditate on this word, because no matter what age you are right now, God is going to use you mightily for His glory. Love & Blessings, Lollita Faith

~There is a secret place where we can go to spend time with the Lord. In those moments, it is secret and sacred. We live in a fast, busy crazy world, so it is vitally important to make time during the day or night for you and Him alone. I’m not talking about opening your bible and reading a few verses for a quick minute, then taking off to work. There is more to the secret place the Lord talks about in Psalms 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

He is our dwelling place.

It is a place of intimacy

A place where you give Him your worship

A place to share of your love for Him

A place to pour out your heart with tears when trials come

A place to give Him praise and even sing to Him

A place to sacrifice your time and give your whole heart to Him

As we give, we RECEIVE from HIM…

It is a place of comfort, A place where He pours out His heart of love

A place where He speaks

A place where He gives you strength

A place where He gives joy to replace your sadness

A place where He gives you drink from His river of pleasures

A place where He counsels and instructs you

A place where He hides you

A place of refuge, {safe place}

A place where He delivers you because He delights in you

A place we can run to for He is our strong Tower and we are safe in His secret place.

~When people hurt you in word or deed, He is our hiding place, He shall preserve you from trouble, He surrounds you with songs of deliverance. Ponder that, He sings over you. Psalms32:7

He hides you in the secret place of His presence from plots of man. He keeps you secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Psalms 31:20 For example say there was someone who said something to you that hurt your feelings and they were not aware. It may lay heavy on your heart and when it does that’s when to take time to spend with the Lord secretly and give it to Him and I guarantee you will come away feeling much better, for He will comfort you and build you up. Also, In Ps. 27:5 it says, For, in times of trouble, He shall hide me in His pavilion, in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. V6. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me. Therefore, I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. He’ll lift you up and you feel refreshed, renewed and revived, then you with joy sing praises to Him.

In the secret intimate times, you spend with the Lord, I have found it best to keep those times secret between you and Him. The reason why I say this, not everyone will understand, plus when the Lord speaks to you in secret it is a word for you only. He has a different plan for all of us so it is better to keep it to yourself and I feel in my heart the Lord would want it to be kept secret as well. It is interesting how He calls it the secret place in the Bible more than once. Think with me for a minute about a husband and wife, they don’t share with others about what they talk about, at least they shouldn’t. But instead they build a close relationship with each other as they spend time together. As a husband/wife team they can both be busy with work and with children etc. but they need to make time for each other. If they don’t take the time, what kind of relationship would they have? It’s the same with the Lord, we are in relationship with Him and it is not about a religion. But it’s all about drawing close to Him, and as we do, He draws close to us. Honestly, to grow spiritually it is important to make time in the secret place for you and Him alone.

The King greatly desires your beauty and because He is your Lord, worship Him. He greatly desires our time with Him in the secret place.

Ps. 16:7, Ps. 18:19, Psalms 27: 5, Ps. 30:11,12, Psalms 45:11, Ps. 46:1,4. Prov.18:10, James 4:8,

At the end of Psalms chapter 91, there is a beautiful powerful word from God in verses 14-16, He says, Because, you have set your love upon Me therefore I will deliver you. I will set you on high, because you know My name. You shall call upon Me and I will answer you. I will be with you in trouble; I will deliver you and honor you. With long life I will satisfy you and show you My salvation. So, let’s enjoy His presence as we dwell with Him in His secret place and reap the many benefits and blessings He gives. As I continued on my journey with the Lord, I knew I had to read the word and I honestly didn’t know where to start. I needed to grow spiritually, and I opened the bible one day to the book of Psalms. As I read it, I applied it to my life daily and personalized prayers of David and certain power and praise scriptures and spoke them into my life unto the Lord. At the time I had no idea the effect those verses would have on my life, but as I continued to sow the seeds, I was beginning to reap a great harvest within my heart. Step by step I discovered I was being transformed into a woman of worship, my prayer life was beginning to flourish, it was truly amazing and most exciting. Now it’s been twenty years later and just the other night I thought how much I value the book of Psalms and what it means to me…well interestingly enough it is the center of the bible and has become the center of my life. My heart overflowed with great inspiration as I pondered the Psalms…

It is my passion and the treasure of my heart ~ It ushers me into the secret place,

It caused me to desire more of God ~ It ignites a fire deep within me

It lifts up my spirit ~ It gives me new hope and builds up my faith

It gives me new wisdom ~ It satisfies my hungry soul and quenches my thirst

It awakens my heart to worship and enriches my prayer life

It enlightens my eyes to see deeper ~ It stirs up new craving and an appetite for more, I can’t get enough

It revives me, refreshes and renews my mind ~ It excites me with joy, filled with His glory

It causes my feet to dance ~ It develops my character

It’s my overflowing fountain ~ It models my behavior

It gives strength when I’m weary ~ It is the air I need to breathe everyday

It is the oxygen I need to survive ~ It is my everything and to make me more like Jesus

I feed on the book of Psalms daily and it nourishes my spirit and soul. It is the very foundation of my spiritual being. It is the ground I walk on and it keeps me on track.

Our bodies need food to nourish us, and how much more do we need the word of God to feed and nourish our spiritual being. Partake of it with pleasure and taste and see that the Lord is good. Bite into it and let it sink into the depth of your heart and soul and watch how you’ll grow. Write it upon the tablet of your heart and you’ll be renewed, refreshed and revived as you drink of His living waters daily. I honestly can’t go one day without meditating on the Psalms. And I know you can experience the same. There are also many other wonderful and powerful books in the bible and many verses that have empowered my life as well, but I found for me and my journey with the Lord the Psalms had, and still has an everlasting effect in my walk with Him. I believe in this new season JESUS wants us to draw closer to HIM more than ever before. The closer you become to HIM the more you will distance yourself from the cares of this world. You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for HIS own possession, that you may proclaim the greatness of HIM who called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light. (1 Peter2:9) We live in a world of darkness, but we are not part of that darkness. We are not of the world because we are in CHRIST; we have the Light. And while we are still in the world, we are called to be set apart, to shine the light so that others might know HIM and be saved (Matthew 5:13-16). Shine for JESUS daily…Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the FATHER is not in them. (1John2:15) Focus your eyes on JESUS and renew your mind and way of thinking, set your affection on heavenly things and not on things of this world. (Hebrews12:2) (Col.3:2) GOD is in control and HIS ways are higher than ours. He sees the bigger picture, so do not fear at the hate around you, but walk in Love. Breathe in the presence of GOD & seek HIS face. Be radically sold out for CHRIST & let HIS Love rule and reign in your heart. HIS Joy shall be your strength HIS Peace shall guard your heart & as you wait with patience on GOD you will be wise & rise with wings of an eagle. Continue to walk by faith & not by sight & step out when HE directs you. Be gentle, kind & good in everything you do. Speak life from GOD’s word into every situation you face. GOD’s promises are written for you to Breathe in & Believe in so you can Receive His everlasting benefits and blessings! Walk each day in GOD’s power and strength and put on HIS full armor to protect you from the works of every evil force. (Eph.6)

I believe we are going to see a powerful move of the Holy Spirit in us through us and across all nations in Jesus name!!

In the last days, GOD says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams…. And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved. (Acts 2:16-21) Hallelujah!! Great is our LORD of Great Power HIS understanding is infinite. (Psalms 147:5)

Believe & Receive this word for you today & remember with our GOD all things are Possible!!

At the beginning stage of my journey as I attended church a lady introduced me to “Steps to Freedom in Christ” by Neil Anderson which consists of prayers to pray that break strongholds of the past. I agreed to go through the steps with her and I’m so glad I did. I was delivered from the spirit of suicide and other evil things of the past. They were like heavy chains that weighed me down and I couldn’t move forward. I was set free like never before. My spiritual eyes awakened, and my spirit came alive within me. Excitement stirred for I knew I was on my way to a whole new spiritual experience ever. I felt like a child who received a new toy but didn’t have the wisdom or understanding of how to use it. Every dream I dreamed I thought was mine and every voice I heard in my spirit I believed came from the Lord. But over time I learned it didn’t always work that way. I knew in my heart I couldn’t live a shallow experience with God that would wear off in time, for if I did, I would stray back to darkness with no hope. In desperation I cried out to God to really know Him and from the depths of my heart a prayer flowed from His word in Colossians 1:9-11

~May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father of glory give unto me, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. May my eyes of understanding be enlightened so I may know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glory of His inheritance in me. And the exceeding greatness of His power to me who believes, according to the working of His mighty power who raised Christ from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in heavenly places and has also raised me up to sit with Him in heavenly places in Christ. Father in heaven I humbly come before You to ignite Your power within me as I walk in obedience to You.~

I needed more than ever His wisdom, knowledge and understanding and His great power to ignite within me. I spoke those words into my life every day and over time I began to see great results as it penetrated the very depths of my heart.  I believe this prayer was another step I took to experience the most amazing spiritual journey I’d ever known.

I pray the posts I share of my personal experiences will inspire others and instill new hope to believe that nothing is impossible with God and He can turn your life around and do the miraculous if you let Him. Love & prayers, Lollita Faith

Excerpt: from my book “I’ll Climb Every Mountain” and it tells of my spiritual journey and I will be posting on my blog of various experiences.

In 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 11 it says, when I was a child I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child but when I became a man, I put away childish things…There is a big difference between childlike and childish.

As a child they speak innocently but not wisely because their knowledge is limited. As a child their thought pattern and understanding is also confined, because they are still in the learning stages of life. Being childish is acting out when things don’t go their way. Or being pouty and selfish when they want to keep and not give.

We too need to put away childish things in our adult life…We need to watch what we say and only speak words to edify and build up the other, words of wisdom. We need to have a greater understanding of how we are to live and how to handle things with God’s wisdom. We need to renew our minds and keep our thoughts pure and keep our eyes off worthless things as in Ps. 119:37

Now enough about childish and let’s talk about CHILDLIKE…

In Matthew chapter 18 verses 1-3 The disciples asked Jesus, ho then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them and said, “Assuredly I say to you unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter heaven.” What does that mean to become as little children? He certainly wasn’t talking about being childish. There are some very strong characteristics children have that we lose and no longer have as adults.

Trust: They have a natural trust in others and that is the foundation of all their other traits. Children are happy and fulfilled without a care in the world.

They don’t worry or fret over something.

They forgive easily and quickly, and they don’t hold grudges.

They have great faith in who they are and all they can be.

Children get excited easily and enjoy the moment

When they are disappointed about something, they shake it off easily and go on to enjoy another activity.

They are curious and ask lot’s of questions which opens doors for learning and breeds creativity and spurs their imagination.

But most of all they are humble…Jesus said in Matthew chapter 18 verse 4, “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

It is important for us as adults to take back our childlike passion for living and trust once again. Disappointments hurts, and pain from the past changes our whole outlook on others and ourselves. We may become bitter, resentful but we need to shake it off as a child and let it go.

If we are curious like a child, we can create new things

If we have faith as a child, we can step out on a diverging path and not have fear of failure.

They are amazed by something new every moment and they stare in wonder at small things around them. When was the last time you looked at the beauty around you and basked in the wonder of God’s creation?

They are very happy and even though they can have tears streaming down their face one minute, they can be laughing the next.

As adults we too need to let things go and live, don’t let things of the past and disappointments marinate in our minds.

Children are very persistent and don’t give up till they have their way. It is also important for us to be persistent and not give up and believe in our God given dreams. Let’s meditate on these thoughts and do our best to be childlike again and enjoy life. God wants us to be free as children and put our total trust in Him and believe for the impossible. We can be youthful and free in our hearts, spirits and minds as we put our faith in God to do great and mighty things in us, for us and through us, touching others around us. Hallelujah!
