The Lord has put this word on my heart for there are many right now who are filled with fear…I pray these words cause your faith to rise within you. God is with you and will never leave you… take up your shield of faith do not give in to fear and follow where HE leads. You will see and do greater things than you ever thought possible. Don’t ever forget where you came from and always remember GOD brought you this far and HE will take you the rest of the way. HE will make a way through every struggle even through sleepless nights HE’LL give you HIS peace. HE won’t forget you and remembers all HE has told you and HE will always make a way. HE will do a new thing for you, in you and through you, has HE not said it? Can you not see it, nor believe it like you once did? Call upon HIM and share together and HE will show you again the great and mighty things HE longs to do for you, for there is nothing impossible for our GOD. HE has declared and saved and proclaimed and you are HIS witness that HE is the LORD our GOD who was and is and yet to come.

In Hebrews chapter 12 verse 1 it talks about running the race and to lay aside every weight that will hinder and run with endurance, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who endured the cross, despising the shame. As we run this race it is important to keep our eyes on Jesus and remember how He endured great  hostility against Him, so you won’t become discouraged.

I remember when I started the race of faith I faced rejection and I couldn’t understand why. Through this experience I learned that we are all different runners in the same race. Not two of us are the same and God has gifted us differently and given us dreams to fulfill His plan and purpose. Some may run at a different pace, but we all run the same race, so with that in mind we should love and encourage each other to the finish. We can all learn from each other as we journey on through life and never get to the place where we’ve arrived, because we will always be reaching and learning as we go till the glorious day when the Lord returns. So, let us not be discouraged when things come against us but set it aside and keep running.

I was inspired to write the poem, “Different Runners in the Same Race” as I thought of how we are all different and unique from each other and we need to accept and appreciate each other for who we are striving to become. When I faced rejection at times I thought if they could only see my heart they would find Jesus, my Father and the Holy Spirit all at work within me.

Different Runners in the Same Race

I may not portray who you’d like me to be

Please forgive me for I am just me

My views may be different from yours

My actions may speak louder than words

I may seem insensitive but that’s not the case

Let’s go hand in hand and keep running the race

I can’t be a portrait of someone I’m not

No matter what others may say or may do

I need to express the person I am

And give of myself every day through

I may be defective, and I’ll make mistakes

But please just have patience, till I finish the race

For then I’ll be perfect, and God’s work shall be done

What the Lord is still doing, each victory is won

Life is a race we learn to win as we grow

To reach our destination, helping others as we go

Let us blend well together, so we’ll shine like His Son

And put aside our differences, for there’s a work to be done,

God made all things different, not two snowflakes are the same,

He made us special for His purpose, so we can glorify His name.

Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup, You have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places surely, I have a delightful inheritance. ~Opposition can change your position in Christ so be on guard and don’t let it happen. Don’t accept any propositions from the enemy. He roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give life in abundance~ {John10:10}

It is important to treasure the gift of family God has given us. There are so many around us that are alone and don’t have the blessing that God has given us. So, let’s don’t take it for granted but cherish our family members and reach out to those who are less fortunate. Prayer is communion with the Lord, and He listens to our heart’s desire and draws close to us as we draw close to Him. He created the family unit and as we seek the Lord for our family He will answer.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I give You all praise and thank You for uniting us together as a family. I honour You as Head of our home in all that is said and done so Your name may be glorified. Penetrate our hearts with You love so we may show forth love and kindness to each other with an understanding that You created each one of us differently. Help us to be patient with one another so Your peace will dwell within these walls and follow wherever You lead us throughout the day. As You continue the work You have begun in each one of us may we become more aware of Your desire for us to be more like You.

I first bring to Your throne room all of my children and grandchildren whom You have blessed me with to love, nurture and cover in prayer daily…

I thank You Father for each one of them for they are a sweet gift from You that I cherish. I believe in Your promise in Isaiah 54:13 that all my children will be taught by the Lord and they shall experience Your great peace. I also want to lift up all other family members such as nephews, nieces, brothers, sisters, cousins, etc. for they a gift as well that I cherish from You. May we have a heart of forgiveness towards each other as You have forgiven us. May each word spoken speak life and never tear down but only build up, to glorify Your name. I pray for divine health, protection, prosperity and great success in all You have called them to do. I pray You will meet their every need this day and may they receive the desire of their heart according to Your will. I pray Your loving presence surrounds them and I cast off and destroy the enemy as he tries to come against them in Jesus name. No weapon formed against them shall prosper and every word that rises against them I shall condemn for it is my inheritance from You. I cover each one in the blood of Jesus and release the Holy Spirit to continue the work in each one as You have planned. May they always love and seek You first in everything and may they live in the fullness of Your joy. I thank You for the dreams You have planted in their hearts and I glorify Your name Father for the great and mighty things You will do in and through them this day and in the future. Thank You Father for I know You have heard this prayer of my heart that I will pray daily over my family.

When you choose to R-E-J-O-I-C-E

You are applying the word of God to your life. In Philippians 4:verse 4 it says, “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.” But there is more in 1 Thess. 5:16 it says, “Rejoice always.”

When you do…

R- u are Ready to take on whatever the Lord has assigned you for the day, whether bitter or sweet you can rise above as you rejoice in the Lord.

E -every step you take is ordained by Him & everything He works out is for your good.

J- JOY for the day comes as you rejoice

O- overcome all circumstances as you rejoice

I – u r Influential and you will infect others and inspire others as well

C- choosing to rejoice gives you courage and confidence in God

E-in Everything give thanks for this is the will of God.

This is a short and sweet word, but it is powerful as you speak God’s word into your life daily. Breathe it in and Live it hour by hour and you will see powerful results. There is power in God’s word and as we live according to His word we can rise above the circumstances of daily life.

As we walk in obedience to the Lord it is more than just picking up your bible and reading a portion, but we need to apply it to our daily walk with Him. Let us choose to rejoice in obedience to His word and we will reap the benefits and overcome the world. Praise God!!

I know who I am in You, Jesus and all I can accomplish is only through You . You will lead me and guide me to Your perfect plan You have purposed for me. I am valuable to You, Your masterpiece You created, and I can be all You have called me to be and more. If I have faith to move mountains and have not love, I am nothing. Faith, hope and love remain, but the greatest of these is Love. I will walk in His love always and forever…

When I think back to my childhood, I was raised to attend church every Sunday and it became a habit more than anything else. I remember the songs I sang were just songs. At one time I was asked to sing, My Jesus I Love Thee, but to me they were just words. I didn’t know Christ in a personal way and I always went astray if things didn’t go my way. I was definitely not a stable Christian and it wasn’t until I hit rock bottom and so close to suicide, when Jesus called me out. My life was a mess and I wondered how He could love me like He did. I rebelled and lived so deep in sin for so long. But in the midst of it all, He looked beyond my weaknesses and whispered in my heart “I love you with an everlasting love, let Me prove My love to you” and that’s when I gave in and what an awesome adventure. He is truly amazing and my love for Him grows more and more each day. His greatest desire is for us to love Him. {1 Cor13:2,13} His first and greatest commandment of all is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and your mind. {Matt.22:37}

When I looked back on the time I knew of Jesus, but didn’t really know Him, words flowed from my heart…

My Jesus I love Thee I’m Yours and Your mine, I feel You within me my sweet love divine, Your peace like a river floods over my soul, Refreshing my spirit, a new woman made whole, Your sweet Holy Spirit revives me each day, I value this treasure He’s beyond what men say, I’ll follow Your footsteps as You lead the way, Nothing shall harm me I’m safe come what may.

Dear Abba Father, I give Thee all praise, I’ll thank Thee always for the rest of my days. Amen and Amen.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear because fear has torment. He that is afraid is not made perfect in love.  Now when I first read those scriptures, I had no idea what they meant. I discovered as I developed a love relationship with Jesus and as it grew stronger, my heart began to trust Him. It was beautiful and fear began to fade and eventually disappeared, because I knew He was with me and would take care of me. But of course, it didn’t happen overnight, but as time went on and I kept seeking Him and spending time in His word, my love for Him grew strong. {1 John 4: 18}

Lord Jesus, I long to plunge into Your deepest waters and let Your heavenly pleasures flood over my soul. With deep passion, I long to soak in the beauty of Your presence. I crave for more of Your endless love. With all of my heart I desire only You. All else this world has to offer could never compare to Your infinite love. My life is meaningless without You. I long to share in all of Your splendor. Lift me high to Your secret place once again, where You hide me under the shelter of Your wings. In the stillness, I wait to hear faint whispers of Your voice. I listen with great anticipation of all You will say and in response, I worship and praise You for all that You are and ever will be. As You water my soul with Your living waters, my thirst is quenched. Rivers of joy burst forth like pure fountains, my heart is refreshed. I am graced with wonder as I sit at Your feet. In Your presence my sweet Savior, peace fills me to overflowing. I’m lost in the beauty of Your love. In the quiet stillness of the moment, I hear the sound of Your song as You sing over me. I am captured by the heavenly lyrics. Your melody flows like peaceful waves. Your sweet renewal refreshes my whole being. I am washed and purified by Your Rivers of love. How lovely is the beauty of Your presence. I lay in the wonder of it all longing to stop time, so these precious moments will last forever. You are my treasure and more valuable to me, than all the riches of this world. There is no one like You. No other could ever take Your place. There is a way to live beyond the lifestyle in the natural, and the answer is found in John chapter 4. Jesus met a woman at the well, and He was weary and needed a drink. When He asked her, she was surprised that He would talk to her since she was a Samaritan and He was a Jew. In that time, they didn’t communicate.  But I found this to be an interesting conversation between the two. Jesus introduced her to a living water and to those who receive it, will never thirst, for a fountain of water will spring up into everlasting life. He was talking about the Holy Spirit coming alive in us like a fountain. It didn’t matter who she was, it was free to all. He then told her what He knew about her and she was amazed. Then He made a very important point regarding worship and true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth and He is looking for such people in you and I. God is Spirit and I believe through the Holy Spirit we can live a lifestyle of worship unto the Father. At the end of the story of the woman at the well, it was truly only the beginning for her, as she went on and told others of her new-found faith in God and many were saved through her testimony. Hallelujah!

Here are some ways I’ve discovered in living a lifestyle of worship and the first is… total surrender. Dying to self and living for Him in everything, it’s not about what you want but what God wants to do in and through you every single day. Then there’s sacrifice, you give up your desires and ambitions and let Him have His way. Don’t let anything hinder you or distract you for living wholly for Him at all times. Make the most of every moment dwelling in His presence, walking in His presence with the Holy Spirit and let Him lead you step by step to do the Father’s will.

Drink of His living waters ( Holy Spirit) He is the river of life that is alive within you. It is a new refreshing daily. Stir up those waters through praise and let the glory of the Lord manifest Himself through you in ways you never thought possible. As you taste and see that the Lord is good, His word is honey to your lips, sweet and plentiful, lovely and pure with great glory and strength, so you may rise above circumstances of everyday life.

As you allow the Holy Spirit to come alive in you, that is living the ultimate lifestyle of all times and there is none other that could match His. It is possible to worship Him in spirit and in truth, so keep your eyes on Jesus. We all need a continual overflow of this living water working in us and through us for we know if we become dry, there is an enemy who is like a roaring lion and he seeks to destroy and devour you. Let us press in and press on towards the mark of the prize of the high calling. Let us put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. A true worshipper is real, and 100 percent sold out to God, and it is not a part time, but full-time lover of God.

Also, a genuine, faithful prayer warrior that puts on the full armor of God to take on and destroy the works of the enemy. My desire and I know it is yours too, to be that true worshipper Jesus spoke of so we can be pleasing to Him always and live the lifestyle that He desires of us. Living His lifestyle is truly the only way to experience His joy unspeakable and full of glory, and great peace like no other that is beyond understanding and more. Praise God!! In a secret place of the heart mysteries are hidden, yet to be revealed through the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 14:25 At times in our minds we know the way to take and how we should live as we follow the Lord. Our soul is in harmony with our mind and they work together to run the race. Everything is beautiful there is peace and joy as we walk in His ways. Then suddenly in the deep places of the heart it awakens to a mystery unsolved. Our eyes are enlightened to see, and our spirit is open to receive the message our heart speaks.

Life is like a puzzle and throughout our journey we begin to see pieces coming together in each step we take. At the beginning we couldn’t see until we reach a level of wisdom and understanding through His Spirit. The mystery of God’s plan for us isn’t revealed until we are ready to receive and it does as we grow in His love in relationship with Him and learn to walk in His glory and grace. You may be still waiting for God to reveal to you  His plan and purpose and He will. The Lord says, His word will not return to Him void but will accomplish what He said. He will soon reveal the beauty of His mysteries in His perfect time. So, if you find there is a piece of the puzzle you don’t understand, some things in life are not meant to be understood, just trust Him for He knows what He is doing, He has a plan. Believe and receive this word for you today and keep moving forward for greater things are about to take place beyond what you could ever ask or think.

Lord Jesus, Help me to trust You in all things and not doubt. Keep my mind from wandering from Your truth and keep my eyes fixed on You always. All I desire is to walk in Your will and receive all that You have for me. I will not lean on my own understanding because You know the way and I will follow after You. Thank You Jesus. Amen and Amen

Psalms 63:3-5 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall PRAISE You. I will BLESS You while I live and lift up my hands in Your name. My Mouth shall PRAISE You with joyful lips. In Psalms 63 David was dedicated to the Lord In seeking Him, thirsting and longing for HIM, In praising HIM in verse 3&5, blessing HIM in verse 4  and so shall we.

D~Destination ~As we continue to adore Him and dedicate ourselves to Him each day, we will reach the destination God has planned.

Lord Jesus, I will bless you while I live, I will praise You with joyful lips. As I seek You, I will thirst and long for you. I will remember You on my bed at night and meditate on You. Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul shall follow so close behind You and Your right hand holds us up. My soul will wait silently for You alone, with great expectation. You are my Rock and my Salvation. I shall not be moved whatever comes my way and I will reach my destination You have planned for me, in Your perfect time. Thank You Lord, Amen and Amen

I woke up inspired by the scripture in Psalms 17:8,9

I made it my prayer,

Lord, Keep me as the apple of Your eye, Hide me under the shadow of Your wings from those who oppress me, and the enemies that surround me. I then meditated on the words I am KEPT, I am HIDDEN by HIM alone. How beautiful and I share it with you today… May you also pray this prayer when troubles come and meditate on the goodness and protection of the Lord knowing that…

You are KEPT as the apple of His eye, You are HIDDEN under the shelter of His wings, from those who oppress you, And from the enemies that surround you. Troubles may attack from every side, but you are hidden under the shelter of HIS wings. What a glorious truth, a beautiful promise for us today… God bless:)

When the Lord brought me out of darkness into His marvelous light, I was made new. It says in Ezekiel 36:26 God gives us a new heart to love Him and a new spirit which is the Holy Spirit, He deposits within us. When I look back He certainly did that for me but at the time, there was a lot I had to learn, such as developing a relationship with Him. I was desperate to know Him, and I certainly didn’t want to go back to my old way of life with no hope, so I constantly cried out to God to make Himself real to me.

As the journey began…

~I learned to listen to His voice and not let anything in the world distract me. I was constantly in His word each chance I got and personalized scriptures into prayers and prayed them into my life every day.

~I learned how to live for Him and please Him, according to His word

~I learned how to renew my mind and stay focused on Him and His ways, by meditating on His word.

~I learned to activate the Holy Spirit in me, by acknowledging Him every morning and inviting Him to be a part of my life throughout the day.

~I learned how to awaken my new heart to love Him by spending precious moments with Him. The more I spent time with Him the closer we became.

~I learned that passion grows for Him as you praise Him and rids you of the spirit of heaviness.

~I learned as I waited on Him, I was stronger, and as time went on it didn’t matter anymore how long I had to wait.

~I learned to be content in all things as my trust and deep faith in Him blossomed

~I learned that I had overcome fear as my relationship with Him grew.

~I learned the importance of keeping Him alive in me every moment and to never let go of my first love.

~I learned to keep in tune with Him every moment and to stay in His word so those moments of joy and excitement, when I first met Him would stay alive in my heart always.

~I learned the importance of spending time with Him in His presence in His secret place.

As time went on spiritual blessings overflow with bouts of joy and laughter, and a peace that is beyond words. Spiritual treasures I experience when things don’t go the way I expected. Of all the relationships I’ve had in my lifetime, there is not one that could ever compare to my relationship with the Lord. There are no words to describe it. What a powerful, most amazing life I’ve lived in these past 20 years and still live today, since I gave Him what little I had back then. My life was in such despair and I was at my lowest and He has raised me up to the highest of high. A glorious spiritual adventure full of surprises. So, if you are searching for answers in life and have lost all hope, Jesus can and will turn your life around, and give you a new hope beyond the believable and an amazing future if you surrender your all. He is now to me, my everything, and my desire is to know Him more and more. He has proved to me over the years how much He loves me, and He is more to me than my every dream. I love Him with all my heart, soul and mind and all my strength as it says in Mark 12:30 and I will keep holding His hand and move forward with Him. How is it possible to pray without ceasing? There are different forms of prayer and they are all addressed to the same person which is the One and only Triune God. We can recite written prayers which can be powerful as we speak them audibly and then there are prayers we can pray in the morning as we awaken or in the evening before we go to sleep or even throughout the day. Also, there are prayers we pray before meals and prayer requests as we are in need and also others who we know need prayer.

I’ve discovered to Pray without ceasing is a constant, continual flow in connection with the Lord. It is powerful, and a moment by moment communication with Him within our spirits, from the depths of our heart, through the Holy Spirit, such as praying in the spirit. It is not the same as setting time aside to pray such as reciting prayers or going to a prayer meeting at church etc. but this is a continual overflow from the heart with love and thankfulness in communion with Him every moment. Within our spirits we can interact with Him at all times, even when we get distracted and it will happen, we can still get back on track with Him. It is possible to converse with the Lord at all times within the spirit of our minds. God has set us apart for Himself and He longs for us to commune with Him always, not just once in a while. So, we need to make Him a part of our everyday lives in everything we do and everywhere we go. He is with us at all times and even in whatever we do at work or visiting a friend etc. He is there.

In Thess. 5:16-18 it says to Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks. As we continually acknowledge the Lord, we will rejoice…even if at times we don’t feel like it, this is what the Lord desires for us and requires from us. I find when I’m in communication with Him my heart rejoices, and it shows outwardly as well. Also, I want to add the scripture from Psalms 119:111 His word is the rejoicing of my heart. Then back to verse 19 in 1Thess. Ch.5 it says, Do not quench the Spirit.

If we keep ourselves in communion with the Holy Spirit that’s when we can rise above through His power and always rejoice, always pray (communing with Him) and always be thankful for everything that comes our way. Let’s don’t quench the Spirit and stop the flow of the living waters within us but keep them flowing and springing up like fountains with rejoicing, praying, giving thanks always for all things.

There are so many other things I could write as well regarding prayer, but I will stop here, and I pray this word is an inspiration to you.

May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thess.5:23

I pray that our heavenly Father grants us the riches of His glory every day. May He strengthen us with might by His Holy Spirit in the inner parts of our being so Christ dwells in our hearts by faith flowing through us, so we may be rooted and grounded in love and be able to comprehend with each other how wide, how long, how deep and how high is the Love of Christ, which is beyond our understanding, so we may be filled with the fullness of God. Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we could ever ask or think according to the power that works in us. And who is that power? It is the Holy Spirit and the more of Him in our life the more He can do through us. Imagine with me at this moment how great God’s love for us is… it goes beyond our love for our kids, our spouse or family members. He loves us more than we could ever imagine. He also can do more than we could ever ask or think. I believe the Lord has put this word on my heart for you and I today to step out in Faith and believe He can heal you physically, emotionally, financially, whatever your need may be our God is greater than anything you are facing today. He can and He will heal your broken heart and make it new, He can heal your body, mind and soul. He can do the impossible! What is impossible with man our God can do and He will. And another glorious thought to ponder!! There is nothing in this world that can ever separate us from His amazing infinite Love, and nothing can stop His hand from moving in your life and mine. Do you believe God can do more than we ask or think? Do you believe He loves you more than anything and you are His valued creation? Whatever is on your mind today remember GOD is greater and desires to give you more. Believe this word for you and receive it today for miracle’s are on their way!! Thank You Father thank You Jesus & thank You Holy Spirit for Your great infinite love & magnificent power in all You have done for us and yet will do!! We give back to You our love & devotion and we believe in Your every promise. What a mighty God we serve He is alive and living within us. What a great honor and privilege!! There is nothing greater than knowing Him as we do!! Since God is for us nothing can come against us. Let us give Him all Praise!!

Therefore, you are My witnesses, says the Lord, that I am God. Indeed, before the day was, I am He and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand, I work and who will reverse it? Isaiah 43:10-13 NKJV

“Arise and Shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. I will heal your broken heart. I will give you the garment of praise in place of heaviness. I will rebuild, repair and raise up what has been broken in your life. I will restore to you the years you have lost. I will make everything NEW. I will make darkness light before you and crooked places straight. I will give you beauty for ashes and oil of joy for mourning. I will lead you in paths unknown to you and give you hope with a future. I will take away your shame and you will have double honor. I will take away your confusion and you will rejoice in your portion. You shall possess double and everlasting joy is yours.”    ~God~

My word that goes forth from My mouth shall not return to me empty but will accomplish what I please and shall prosper where I send it. Is.55:11 Is.61:1-4,7. A little one shall become a thousand and a small one a strong nation. I the Lord will hasten it in its time. Is.60:22 ( If you at this moment are feeling insignificant and little with not much to offer the Lord, I guarantee if you give what little you have to Him, watch how He will make it grow in His time. ) All I had to offer Him was my heart, I had no talent or nothing worthy as other people had, but God certainly showed me how great He can make something out of nothing. Twenty years later, I am His witness that all He has promised in His word has come true for me. My life once was twisted and bent out of shape, but the Lord came through for me and made the crooked places straight. He has kept His word and restored the years I’ve lost and made all things new for me. He has replaced my tears with His joy. He has given me hope and a future. Don’t think for one minute you are a hopeless case and have gone too far. He will wipe away all your past and make all things new for you beyond what you could ever imagine. He is a faithful God and so loving and kind and wants only His best for you.

Trust in Him with all your heart and don’t try to understand what can’t be understood, believe me, He won’t let you down. I pray this word the Lord has placed on my heart will encourage you and lift up your spirit and confirm in your heart how valuable you are to Him and how much you are loved. In 11 Corinthians 13:14 Paul said, may the GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ, the LOVE of God and the COMMUNION of the Holy Spirit be with you all. I had read this scripture at times, but I never really understood what communion of the Holy Spirit meant until I discovered it was in communication with Him. We can be filled with the Holy Spirit without really knowing Him and we can speak with other tongues and even have gifts of the Spirit flowing in our lives and still not know Him. At one time I thought the Holy Spirit was just a vapor of God’s power that will comfort me and make me feel good. But I’ve found He is more than just a feeling that comes over you when you go up to the altar at church. In September of 1999 is where I discovered a new way of walking. I received a phone call from a friend, and they told me there was someone who wanted to receive their baptism in the Holy Spirit. and they wanted to talk to me. At first, I thought what do I do? And how much knowledge do I have of the Holy Spirit? I knew I was baptized in the Spirit because I could speak in tongues and I had some of the fruits of the Spirit displayed in my life, and I knew I could worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth and feel His presence, however I needed to brush up on my knowledge and learn more about Him. So, I searched the scriptures and then I discovered the Holy Spirit was more than just a vapor…but He is a Person who longs to commune with me and have a relationship. I thought how wonderful, and that was just the beginning of a whole new spiritual walk for me and I poured out my heart with this prayer…

Dear Holy Spirit, You are my Teacher, my Guide, my Counselor and my best Friend of whom I cherish with my whole heart. I thank my Lord and Savior for giving You to me as He said He would in John 16. You are a special gift I will always treasure. May we embrace each other in love each day as we walk together in this new relationship. I surrender my heart to You, so You may produce beautiful fruits in my life to make me more like Jesus. Remove any past tradition or belief that would hold me back from knowing You in this intimate way that You desire. Forgive me for neglecting You, for You are truly a precious gift that deserves to be recognized. My desire is to know You more and walk in fellowship with You as Jesus did. Great and mighty works You will do through me as I yield myself to You and I push all of self aside. I give You my mind so You may implant pure thoughts from my dear Father and precious Savior. May I grow in the grace and the knowledge of the holy scriptures so I may be trained and fully equipped for every good work. Open my eyes to see in the spiritual realm so I may overcome the natural. Open my ears so I may hear Your voice as You lead and guide me each day. May I only speak words of wisdom and words of truth so they may minister grace to the listener. May my lips worship only in Spirit and in truth. As I pray may You fill my mouth with words You would have me say. I give You my hands so You may use them to fulfill my Father’s perfect plan for me. May You lead my steps each day so I may walk the straight and narrow path with Joy. I no longer want to live my life my way but Yours. I die to self so You may flow through me. May I be sensitive to Your presence every moment of the day so my Father’s perfect will may be accomplished within me. I realize I am nothing without You and I thank You Holy Spirit for drawing me to this secret place in You so I may be free. I love You. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen

I believe the Holy Spirit is the one person of the Godhead that is most neglected and mainly because the lack of knowledge of Him, lack of understanding Him, which leads to the lack of experiencing Him, I think there is also a certain fear of Him. As I went on step by step, I was inspired to write this poem titled,

The Hidden Treasure

He’s the River that’s been stopped, He’s the Fire that’s put out,

He’s the Wind that cannot move, He’s the power that cannot shout,

He’s the Oil that’s been contained, He’s the Air that cannot breathe,

He is hidden behind closed doors, He’s the one who has to leave.

When the River flows there’s life,

When the Fire is hot there’s power,

When the Wind can move there’s strength,

When the Oil flows free there’s joy.

I will be writing different chapters of my experiences with the Holy Spirit from the past 20 years and I pray it encourages you to dive deeper and drink of His living waters and let them overflow from within. Love & Blessings, Lollita
