I am a suicide attempt survivor. Through all the deep dark valleys I walked, suddenly I discovered a light at the end of the tunnel shining so bright, greater than I had ever seen before. How was it possible for a woman such as I, to have come so far in life, with nothing but loneliness and despair, then suddenly I'm rescued? Could it be possible it was for such a time as this? There are too many people today that are ending their life needlessly. I am now an advocate for suicide prevention. My passion and prayer has become my mission to share my journey to make a difference in someone’s life and I believe it is possible!
I remember when my dad and I celebrated my birthday and Father’s Day years ago like it was yesterday. Also the most memorable Christmas when we danced the polka together in the living room what a joy it was. I thank God for my father I was blessed with and I cherish all the memories of him deep in my heart. It has been 33 years since he passed away and time does not heal a grieving heart. I find I miss him more every day but I’ve also found to be true only by God’s grace I can stand and make it through each day without him. I remember years ago I always feared the day my dad would pass on and how would I cope? But I thank God for the hope He has placed in my heart that one day I will see him again in heaven and what a day of rejoicing that will be and we will dance again.
There may be some of you who have been raised without a father or had bitter experiences you want to forget but I want to remind you there is our heavenly Father who loves you unconditionally and He deserves to be honored today.
~+ He is worthy to be acknowledged and praised for He is a good Father. I know my heavenly Father lives because He has kept His promises to me over the past 21 years. Great is His faithfulness for He has been faithful to me every day and His tender mercies flow for me even when I don’t deserve it. His Love abounds more and more and He has proved His love for me over and over again. His greatest sacrifice of love is when He gave His Son Jesus to die to save me and you and I am forever grateful. He has supplied my every need. He has given me my heart’s desires even without asking. His blessings are too many to be counted. I love the little things He does for me that many may think He is too big or too busy to care. He has protected me and made a way for me so many times when I needed Him the most. His grace covers and carries me every moment of every day. He has never once forsaken me or let me down so today I give Him all honor and praise for being such a great Father to me. There are not enough words to describe His compassion for me and for the world but if you look around you will see the magnificence of His great love & faithfulness for us all. Jesus didn’t promise us a life without troubles but He did promise us He would never leave us and His grace would be sufficient to carry us through every storm. HE is our HOPE, our JOY, our STRENGTH & our SONG
I remember the night I was just about to take an overdose of pills the song “Bridge over Troubled Waters” was playing and the words echoed throughout the room and it was like God was speaking to me to get my attention but I honestly believed it was too late and I had gone too far.
I was in a coma after consuming a bottle of sleeping pills and my body was shutting down until a few days later I awakened and I was given a second chance at life. Even years later I attempted suicide again close to jumping off a cliff but again He rescued me. He was and still is my bridge over troubled waters but one day He led me to His living waters and this rushing river deep within me overflows like fountains. How lovely and refreshing is He and these waters are available to anyone who will allow these waves of life to consume you.
Let us dive deep and let Him stir His river of Living waters within us!
Nothing or no one can stop these living waters deep within, how precious is this flow of love between you and Him. As we Praise Him His River of love is stirred within us Renewing, Reviving, and Refreshing our hearts. As strong winds try to bring us down embrace His songs of Praise and let our hearts sing.
May we hold up our Shield of Faith though it is battered and worn and not let anything hinder us from moving forward. Let us lift up our Sword high and stand on His every promise for they are written just for you and for me. Pray through every storm and Praise Him for this storm shall soon pass and the “Son” will shine within. Let His grace take you to the place He has ordained for you! How is it possible for my life to once be so broken and shattered into so many pieces and then put back together into something beautiful? If anyone had told me years ago, I would live a life of true freedom and joy like I do today I’m sorry, but I would’ve had a hard time believing It. But glory be to God I am living proof it is possible! My deep desire is for others to experience the same and I pray everyone will. I know some say when Jesus said He came to give us life in abundance in John 10:10 that was when we get to heaven, but I say not true, we can live in pure joy right here on earth. At the beginning of the verse it says the thief which is the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy. Well he certainly had a strong grip on my life, but Jesus broke the chains that had me bound and set me free. When the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. John 8:36, Isaiah 61:3
I woke up this morning and the Holy Spirit led me to the scripture in Proverbs 18:21a.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue. I thought wow our words can either speak life or death, we can either build others up or tear them down. Well I feel inspired by the Lord to choose to speak life and a prayer for you, to build you up and give you hope to know you are loved and to strengthen you, so you may rise above all that you encounter each day. There is power in the tongue with the words we speak, but there is also a power within us to empower us to be an overcomer. When I started my journey with the Lord I prayed Ephesians chapter 1 verses 17-19 into my life every day. I knew I had to have more than I ever had before and I couldn’t settle for less. I didn’t want to go back to where I was on the dark road of depression. As time went on I was able to overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through me. Praise God!
So today I speak this word Into your life…
I speak the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory to give unto you the spirit of wisdom and and revelation in the knowledge of Him. May the eyes of your understanding be enlightened so you may know the hope of His calling and the riches of the glory of His inheritance. I speak into your life that you may know the exceeding greatness of His power which is the Holy Spirit and that you LIVE according to the working of His mighty power {which He worked in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and sat Him at God’s right hand in the heavenly places. Ephesians 1:17-19.
I speak God who is rich in mercy and because of His great love for you when you were dead in sin, He made you alive together with Christ, {by grace are you saved} and He has also raised you up and you now sit with Him in heavenly places. Ephesians 2:4-6
I speak Into your life that you will be strong In the Lord and the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10,11 May you put on the whole armour of God so will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I speak into your life that you will never be shaken and you will not be afraid of evil tidings, but your heart will remain steadfast and established, trusting in the Lord. I speak that His wisdom, knowledge and joy that He gives to you will cause you to walk in wisdom and learn the knowledge that the Holy Spirit will teach you and receive His joy, that will keep you strong. I pray the power of this word will pierce your heart and mind so you will know who you are in Christ and the mighty power you have living in you, which is the Holy Spirit. I pray you will acknowledge Him every day and allow Him to ignite His power in you, so you can rise above all that’s going on in the world and in your personal life. I pray you will let Him work through you to do great and mighty exploits, all to the praise of his glory! There’s no time to waste and we can’t just sit back and settle for less. It’s time to stand up in his mighty power with his sword in our hand which is God’s word. Let’s fight to the finish and tear down the enemies plan to destroy the hearts of many people and prepare the way for the coming of the Lord. I pray you will trust in the Lord with all your heart and not try to understand all that’s going on around you, but acknowledge Him in all of your ways and He will direct you and make a way for you. Closing thoughts: No one knows what the future holds here in the world, but we know we can trust God and His word! We can’t make it in our own strength, we are fighting against principalities and powers of darkness beyond the natural and if ever we needed the power of the Holy Spirit to make it through, it is NOW! Go in the strength of the Lord and the power of his might! I praise God for all He will do In and through you!
I experienced another morning dream two days ago on June 16th and how beautiful it was. I was dancing a dance of praise unto the Lord, twirling and twirling in circles shouting out…this is the time of celebration. Let’s celebrate and dance through this storm.
When I woke up my heart and soul were dancing and rejoicing in the spirit! I thanked the Lord for the miracles He’s been doing in our prayer group. I then reminisced some beautiful scriptures of dancing and to rejoice in the dance. Not everyone can dance with their feet, but you can dance deeper as you let it flow from your heart, soul and spirit. With the three parts working together it can be a glorious experience giving glory, honour and praise to the Lord.
When you think of it plants can’t live on sunshine alone, they also need rain to survive. We too need rain in our lives so our seeds of faith can grow in our hearts. When the rain pours down, and troubles come our way, it is our season for roots to grow deep and let the seeds of faith build a strong foundation.
Then as your faith grows through trials you then are able to take great leaps of faith to fulfill His purpose for your future. Each time we let our seed of faith grow through the storms of life, we become stronger and stronger in our faith, and as time passes our steps get lighter and lighter and before you know it, we begin to dance thru the storms of life and our burdens that were heavy, begin to disappear and are no longer there and as we praise Him, the spirit of heaviness begins to vanish.
So, count it all joy when all kinds of trials come your way, because it is through them you become stronger in your faith to face another day and patience begins to grow.

This way of living doesn’t come natural when you give your heart to Jesus. It takes work on our part and discipline to reach the place where you are able to dance thru each storm. But the great thing about it is when you enter into His presence and learn how to walk in it daily, all troubles have to flee. What an exciting adventure it is and I know what it’s like to live in the world with no hope and trust me there is no greater thrill than living for Jesus. How amazing was my morning dream and what a way to wake up to the words, True Victory that overflowed my heart, soul and mind. It was beautiful and in my dream I shouted, true victory, true victory!! When I woke up I thought wow, we live in true victory because of Jesus.

My heart was dancing with excitement as the sound of victory like rushing mighty rivers overcame me and the Holy Spirit led me to Isaiah 55:8-11 “My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways And My thought than your thoughts. As the rain and snow comes down from heaven and waters the earth and doesn’t return, but makes the earth flourish and bud giving seed to the sower and bread to those who eat. Same as My word that goes forth from My mouth shall not return to Me, but shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper where I send it.” “For you shall go out with Joy and be led out with Peace” v12a All of His promises in the bible are powerful words that He speaks and they prosper and grow and blossom where He sends it to those who believe. Do you believe you can have the victory over healing? God’s word speaks to you in Isaiah 58: 8,9…
“Your light shall break forth like the morning Your healing shall spring forth speedily And your righteousness shall go before you The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard As you call the Lord will answer You shall cry and He will say, HERE I AM.” Believe In His promises that He speaks and receive His word and let it flourish and blossom In your life. Let His word prosper you spiritually, physically and emotionally. Let His word produce in us people of victory!!! There is a particular bridge in my area that is known to be a popular place for people to end their life. My heart was broken when I kept hearing on the news of precious lives lost of all ages, so last year I drove to the bridge and prayed over it. I also left brochures and books that tell of my story in hopes that someone would read it and have a change of mind. I had read in the news there was to be barriers built to prevent suicides in the future and I felt inspired to share my story with members of parliament and regional councillors because I knew it was a deeper spiritual battle that goes on within a person when they want to end their life. I mailed over 600 copies and a couple months later I received a positive response in fact I had a regional councillor ask if I would speak at a luncheon and share my story, so I did. They thanked me for being their guest speaker and I may not know the effect I had on the gathering but it certainly was a great opportunity to share my personal relationship with the Lord and the steps I took to freedom in Christ that actually rescued me. It was definitely an open door and I walked through in obedience to the Lord to glorify His name.
Well six months had passed and I wondered about the bridge and as I inquired I discovered there was no Installation of barriers due to the coronavirus. Not long after I received a message to pray for a young woman who had jumped off that same bridge to end her life. She was barely alive when they found her body and rushed her to the hospital. They put her in an induced coma, her brain was bleeding and there was not much of a chance she would survive. The medical staff performed three surgeries to try and save her but there wasn’t much hope that she would recover. She had given her life to Jesus prior to this but struggled with depression and oppression from the enemy. My friend and I believed together that her story wasn’t over and we prayed in agreement for complete recovery. I told my friend when this girl gets out of the hospital I will take her through the steps to freedom in Christ and she said yes that will be wonderful. With me being suicidal at one time I also was tormented from demons of depression etc. and when I was taken through the Steps to Freedom in Christ from a lady at the church I was set free. I’m excited because today June 13 I received the amazing news that God had answered our prayers and this young woman would be home from hospital in two weeks. I believe as my friend and I agreed together in prayer for healing God heard and answered. There were other prayer warriors in the prayer group praying as well and they too are rejoicing. So it’s true this young woman’s story is not over but it’s just yet to begin and I’m excited to see the other miraculous chapters of her life unfold for the Lord has taken hold of her hand when she gave her heart to Him and He’s not letting go. Praise God for His wonders never cease and He is performing miracles everyday. If you need a miracle please let me know and I will keep you in prayer. I believe nothing is impossible with God. During the trying time of the year 2020, I recall opening my Bible to 1 Peter, chapter 1, and the words a living hope jumped out at me. My spirit was captured, and I journaled verses 3-8. Later, as I was driving on the highway and thinking again of the living hope, I received a revelation of hope from the Holy Spirit. I’ve read this Scripture before, but this time it came alive within my heart like never before. It was wonderful, and I felt great strength rise up within me as the word hope flowed through my mind. I laughed with great joy. I knew the Lord was telling me to stay focused on HOPE and not on the circumstances around me. When I arrived home later, words flowed from my heart to apply to my life but also to share with others….
Because of God’s abundant mercy and love for each one of us Jesus died and rose again to give us a new life and A LIVING HOPE His word says..
~This Living Hope will not fade away ~Our reservation is in heaven ~Kept by the power of God through our faith ~Ready to be revealed In the day He returns.
An acronym of HOPE to keep us strong believers and no matter what happens here below and no matter how tough life gets…
H- HEAVEN we are heaven bound, Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you John 14:3 O- OVERCOME Jesus said He has overcome the world and so can we. John 16:33 P- PERFECTED we will be like Him, no pain, no tears, new body Rev.21:4, 1 John 3:2 E- ETERNITY we will be with Him for all eternity. 1 Thess. 4:13
Because of this, let’s rejoice, and you may be thinking, how is it possible to rejoice at a time like this? Well, every morning when we wake up, no matter what is going on around us, we have a choice to either rejoice in the Lord or be miserable or fearful. We have a choice to be thankful for waking up to a new day and a living hope the Lord has promised. We need to dwell on our heavenly home that awaits us, keep our minds focused on our living hope that Jesus gives, and even though we are grieved with trials…as His word says, let our genuine faith that is far more precious than gold work through us mightily. When our faith is tested by fire, let’s stand and pull through. We will praise, honour, and glorify the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom we have not seen with our eyes but whom we love with all our hearts. Right now we do not see Him, but by faith we believe, rejoicing with joy unspeakable and full of glory until that day comes. We have every reason to rejoice when we have Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, our Redeemer, and our Healer, and because of our living Hope, we have nothing to fear! The two verses before are, Be anxious for nothing instead; pray about everything… Phil. 4:6,7 are REJOICE in the Lord always and again I say REJOICE! verses 4-5. Think about it with me: if we rejoice in the living hope Jesus gives every day, how can we be anxious or fear anything in this world?
Final Thoughts The world has their methods of dealing with fears and anxiety through counselling and other techniques… but there is no method like God’s word that far outweighs them all.
I pray this word, A LIVING HOPE, will encourage and empower you today and every day. It is not my word, but it is God’s word and His promise of hope we can cling to till the day He returns and takes us home to be with Him for all eternity! What a glorious day that will be. Life is lost without hope and there is certainly not much hope in the world today with all that’s going on around us, but we have a hope in our God who is alive and living within us, and He is for us and not against us. He is our God of hope and will always make a way for us when there seems to be no way. He gives us hope for healing, hope for tomorrow, hope for our future, He has sealed us with the Holy Spirit and that is our guarantee we will make it through no matter what. No weapon formed against us will prosper, nothing can separate us from Him and no matter what is going on in the world today we are promised hope and a future because He has a plan and all we have to do is trust Him. I am excited as I write this and our God of hope within me burns with desire for the future in all He has planned and I pray it will ignite within you like a wildfire. So don’t give up hope, no matter how you are feeling today, but hold on to what little strength you have and let God take over right now. This Is my prayer for you at this moment and I believe God has a hold on your life and He won’t let you go, so do not fear…

We all think and act differently and have different gifts, but we were all created by the same God. We are all made in His image no matter what colour or race. We are all created unique to fulfill God’s purpose. Let us love one another and Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 ❤️
There are people who have survival kits packed and kept In their car, just in case… Well did you know its Important to have a survival kit during these uncertain times for our own security? How is it possible to be secure when everything seems to be crashing down around us? Well there is not much hope in the world today, if any. Everywhere you look and everything you hear is all about the virus and isolation. And they say how important social distancing is and it’s to protect us physically. But now I want to talk about the spiritual side of us. We can’t afford to distance ourselves from Jesus, if ever we needed Him it is now, for He Is the only one that will get us through these trying times. If you read Ephesians 6 it talks of a spiritual battle going on in the world, which is more serious and goes deeper than a virus. So with that being said we need to be on guard and be equipped on a spiritual level with a spiritual survival kit to keep us safe in these trying times. These are the essential items for your kit…(fire, a light, salt, sword, helmet, breastplate, belt, footwear, garment, oil, blanket) with explanations below…
Fire…ignite the fire of the Holy Spirit In you Matt. 3:11, acknowledge Him. Light…Let your light shine for the whole world to see. Matt. 5: 14-16 Salt…you are the salt of the earth so keep your flavour, which is being full of Christ, serve to exalt him, and to magnify the grace of God in everything you do, Sword…word of God is your weapon. Not only read it, but speak it against the enemy as Jesus did in the wilderness. He spoke the word of God to crush him and put him in his place. Matt.4: 1-11. There is power in Gods word and the enemy can attack our minds, in fact that’s where the battle field is and we need to know God’s word so we can stand and with the shield of faith we can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6 verse 16. Helmet of salvation..put it on and protect your mind and know who you are in Christ Breastplate of righteousness…protects your heart, because of Jesus you are righteous, so keep it and live according to His word and let God guard your heart. Belt of truth…know the truth of God’s word, live it and walk in His truth Proper footwear…clothe your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace verse 15 Prayer…is another survival weapon, praying in the Holy Spirit verse 18
Garment of praise…put on garment of praise in place of heaviness. Isaiah 61:3 Oil of joy…the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 Blanket…the Lord will cover you with His blanket of grace and you will find strength in time of need. 2 Cor. 12:9
As you unpack your kit every morning, dwell in the secret place of the Most High and you will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Then speak, Psalm 91:2 “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in Him I will trust.” I speak God’s word over your life today and I pray you pack up your spiritual kit and use each item daily to protect you from the powers of darkness. I pray His peace like a river floods over your soul to comfort you and fill you with joy, so you may abound in hope with patience through this trial being constantly in the attitude of prayer through the power of the Holy Spirit, Praying always for all things you hope for. Romans 15:13 I speak His word into your life today. I speak strength and healing in your body for I believe by His stripes you are healed. Is.53:5 I speak spiritual blessings to flow from the heavens over you and your family. I speak on behalf of every member of your household and loved ones to be saved for I believe the Holy Spirit will draw them to receive the gift of salvation. I speak God’s favor over you and your family for financial blessings to overflow. Deut.28:8 I cast off and destroy the spirit of fear, for it does not come from God. I speak His power and love upon you and a peaceful sound mind to reign, so you can move forward by faith to all He has destined for you. 2 Tim.1:7 I cancel every assignment that the enemy has planned for you and your family. I rebuke every negative word that has been spoken against you today. No weapon that comes against you shall succeed. I silence every voice that falsely accuses you. Is. 54:17 The eyes of the Lord watch over you and His ears are open to your prayers and the cries of your heart. The vision He has given you is set for an appointed time as you watch and wait you shall see the glorious outcome He has planned right from the beginning. God preserves you because you love Him and as you call upon Him He will answer and deliver you. He will set you on high because you know Him. Ps.91:14 As you walk in the midst of trouble He will revive you, He will stretch forth His hand against your enemies and His right hand will save you. Ps.138:7 I pray through every tear God will give you great triumph. Ps.126:5,6 I pray you will take courage for God will strengthen your heart. I believe God’s favor is upon you and as you seek Him first and His righteousness all things will be added unto you. Matt.6:33 I pray as you wait on God your strength will be renewed and soar as an eagle. I pray your eyes will be enlightened to see your light affliction, which is but for a moment, will work for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory 2 Cor. 4:17 I pray the peace of God to continue to guard your mind and rule your heart Phil.4:7 I pray God’s grace to overflow in abundance to lift you high above every circumstance you face. 2Cor.12:9 I pray you will be kept by the power of Christ through faith, strengthened by His joy, lifted by His grace and may your hope be built upon every promise in His word. I believe God’s word is powerful and as I speak it in prayer over you and your family, God’s power is released. Have you taken a good look at the beauty around you today, or is your mind caught up in all that’s going on in the world. It’s important to live in the moment because that’s all we have right now. God didn’t promise us tomorrow and He also didn’t promise life would be perfect. However there are many promises He gives us, that are written in His word to focus our minds on. You are alive and breathing today because God has a purpose for you. Your time is not up, so enjoy what you have be it bitter or sweet and be thankful. Get out and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. There is always someone worse off, so take a good look at what you have and be kind. Give to others who are less fortunate, even a smile can change someone’s day. Be loving and pray, for many are suffering all over the world…Rest In God’s love as you look beyond the clouds around you and let’s hold on to our eternal hope and simply trust Him in everything. When we hope in something that only God can pull off for us, we have to wait. We live in a day and age though, where everything is instant and because most things we want are right at our fingertips, we expect God to move fast as well. However I’ve learned waiting is a good thing, it’s a time to reflect, a time to invest in all that you hope for. Waiting is a hidden treasure buried deep and before it comes to full fruition it is first refined through the fire. Once the process is over you discover a valuable transformation that has taken place in your life you never thought possible. Let waiting be a time for reflection to see where you’re at spiritually in your relationship with the Lord. Waiting is the time to make valuable investments in your spiritual life Waiting is a time to set goals for growth! I’ve discovered in my own personal life, waiting is rewarding in the end, but that doesn’t mean the journey is easy it’s not, however as time goes by it does get easier. ( Believe it or not when I started waiting , I don’t know how many times I cried for the Lord to make it happen for me, but as years passed by it didn’t matter anymore because I was enjoying the journey with Him so much. How crazy is that? But it’s true:) Through the waiting you win and not lose, trust me it’s worth it to wait. Because if you don’t, and jump ahead of God’s plan it will lead to disappointment or possibly a disaster. Through waiting you gain wisdom, through waiting you gain strength. Waiting on the Lord is putting your trust in Him and you give Him permission to work in your life. Without trust in God waiting won’t work. You have to trust in Him totally and for trust to work in you, it takes time to build. Here are the steps I took and what a glorious outcome has taken place in my life in my Intimate relationship with the Lord…
Step One: Seek Him first and all these things shall be added unto you that’s where it all starts is seeking…Seek His strength I first had to seek the Lord and keep on seeking. Did I trust Him at the beginning? Well to be honest no I didn’t, in fact I didn’t even believe that He loved me. Why? because so many people in my past said they loved me, but instead they broke my heart, so how could I believe someone loves me that I can’t see? He said He would prove His love to me and I knew I couldn’t go back where I was, so I decided to follow Him. I had to really know Him, I kept seeking Him for something deep with Him. I couldn’t settle for a shallow experience because if He couldn’t help, I knew life was over for me.
Step Two Feed on His word.. I started with the book of Psalms. I would speak words of strength into my life and discovered the scripture was building me up into a woman of new strength, wisdom and joy. It didn’t happen overnight but as I continued feeding my soul a powerful transformation was taking place and His glory and grace was weaving my heart closer to His.
Step Three Prayer…I wrote prayers from different promises from the word of God and prayed them every day. That was new to me praying prayers in a repetitious form, however little did I know at the time the powerful inner peace and strength that was being developed. Then as time went on and I came to acknowledge the Holy Spirit the beginning of a whole new spiritual prayer life was inspired as He enabled me.
Step Four Praise & Worship God inhabits the praises of His people. We are empowered as we praise Him. But not only that praise and worship is a powerful weapon against the enemy and it tears down and destroys the darkness around you and your family, he is powerless and hates when we praise Jesus. The Holy Spirit taught me the importance of praise and worship and inspired me to write praise scriptures and pray them Into my life. Now when I first get up In the morning before I start my day I praise and worship Him. There are some great worship music online that can usher you into God’s presence. Worship Him in the beauty of holiness.
As you seek the Lord with all your heart and all your might you will find Him. As you feed on His word you will receive many spiritual blessings beyond the believable. As you pray you will be drawn so close to His heart, so close that He will reveal His heart and you will feel His heart and hear His faint whispers. As you praise and worship Him, He will powerfully respond to you and protect you and restore your life completely. As we work on seeking, feeding, praying, and praising Him we are then complete in Him and we become the true worshippers Jesus spoke of to the woman at the well. Worship is a lifestyle as we apply these four steps we will be an overcomer, more than a conqueror and one step without the other we are lacking God’s power and blessings.
Why does God make us wait? W- Wisdom comes A- Acknowledge Him is a must I – Intimacy builds and grows T-Trust develops deep within you
If you are waiting right now on God to move in your life I know what it’s like and it’s not easy, but I guarantee If you discipline yourself and apply these four steps, you will see God move in you, through you and for you like you’ve never seen before. So don’t be discouraged for there is hope in Him. I am excited for all God has done in my life and I’m excited for the future in all He has planned. There is no greater adventure than this my friends and no matter what goes on in the world around you, it is still possible to be filled with His peace and joy overflowing. All I say now is, thank the Lord for the wait I endured. Because if I didn’t, I wouldn’t know Him like I do and I wouldn’t be able to share the treasure I have discovered in waiting on Him. The treasure of intimacy with Him, is a life of joy in its fullest form.
My daughter and I were visiting family when she received a call and suddenly she let out a scream and fell to the floor crying hysterically. Her step son had cancer and there was nothing I could do to comfort her, I was in shock and unbelief. On the way home that night my heart was broken and I cried out to the Lord when suddenly I looked up and saw fireworks in the sky. It flashed about three times and lasted about fifteen seconds if even that. I first thought it was not an occasion for fireworks.. Then I heard the Lord say in my spirit this is the time to celebrate and I thought what? And I said to the Lord I know you can heal him and I will keep on believing. Well not long after he was getting worse rather than better. There was little hope that he would recover because he had waited too long to seek medical help. He had lymphoma cancer and huge lumps all over his body and it wasn’t till about 8 months later he finally went to the hospital. Well by this time he was skin and bones and looked terrible and he was rushed to ICU because his heart was weakening and we just about lost him a couple times. He then caught pneumonia and they couldn’t start the treatment till he was better. We certainly did a lot of praying of course and many people in the church prayed as well. I talked to a man in church who was praying and believing for healing and it was wonderful to have the prayer support in the church. As time went on he was gradually improving and he put his trust in God that he would receive his miracle and we all as a family believed as well. The chemo treatment lasted about six months and then came the time for the big PET test to find out the results. And praise God we received our miracle healing and there was no more cancer in his body. Even the doctors were amazed and I give God all the glory and honour and praise for healing my grandson. He is a walking miracle and I just had to share that if you are waiting and praying for your miracle, keep on believing because all things are possible with God!
In the past I struggled with fear, and as I read the scripture in 1John 4:18 There Is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. I must say I had no understanding at first. The word perfect means complete. I discovered as I developed a love relationship with Jesus and as it grew stronger, my heart began to trust Him. It was beautiful and fear began to fade and eventually disappeared, because I knew He was with me and would take care of me. But of course, it didn’t happen overnight, {1 John 4: 18} The Lord wanted me to wait and keep on waiting and all the years I waited, I worked on my relationship with the Lord and what a blessing In disguise to wait because as the time went on, it was easier to wait and I fell so In love with the Lord nothing else mattered anymore.
May God according to the riches of His glory strengthen you with might in your spirit, by the Holy Spirit so Christ may dwell in your heart by faith so you can be rooted and grounded in His love and experience the love of Christ to the fullest and be made complete in Him. {Eph.3:16-21}
This is what we need to do today to survive, we need to be strengthened by God with the power of the Holy Spirit working In and through our spirits. So Christ can dwell In our hearts by faith. We need to be rooted and grounded in His love so we can experience to the fullest the love of Christ, then we are made complete In Him. Perfected In His love casts out all of our fears. When we are perfected In His love there Is trust!
So how do we get to that place of a deep relationship with the Lord
Feed on God’s word…
BUILD up yourselves in the most holy faith praying in the Holy Spirit KEEP yourselves in the love of God (Don’t get distracted with other things but keep seeking Him, He loves it when we seek Him. Keep within His boundaries, walk In the Spirit and be led by the Spirit) Keep feeding on His word. I started with book of Psalms and kept speaking it into my life and praying it as well, every day) LOOKING for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, keep our eyes on Jesus
Now to Him who Is able to keep you from stumbling And to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy to God our Saviour who alone is wise Be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever Amen Jude verses 20-25

Through this pandemic the word you see everywhere is, Be safe and well. From the world’s perspective yes, it is important to be safe and stay home and be well. But as I thought about it in a deeper spiritual sense, I was inspired to share my safe and happy place. Is it possible to be safe and happy at a time like this? I’m excited to tell you, yes it is possible. But have you noticed even before this crisis not too many people were happy and maybe it was because they didn’t feel safe and secure and unfortunately there are even more so now. I’ve found people look at you strange if you are happy and excited about life. I remember years ago I took a course for my position at work and a student spoke out loud enough for everyone to hear and looked right at me and said, I don’t trust people who are happy and I think they are on something. Well I didn’t react to it of course, but I found it rewarding that she noticed the difference in me. It’s sad but true, people take meds to be happy and there are also clinics that offer happy therapy. However I’ve discovered a place where I can be safe with complete confidence and not have to worry or fear about today or tomorrow. How? First of all when I gave God control of my life and I grew in my relationship with Him, I learned to truly love Him and trust Him with all of my heart. That’s where it started for me and what an awesome journey of joy beyond words and full of His glory as His word says. A happy heart in a spiritual sense is not an emotional trip that comes when everything is going our way, but it is a wonderful benefit or should I say spiritual blessing, when we put our total trust in the Lord and His word. In Psalm 144 verse 15 in NKJV it says, Happy are the people whose God Is the Lord. I’ve discovered it to be true, there is a happiness He gives that is not hidden, but is an expression of His joy we can experience in our everyday life, moment by moment. But not only that, there is also a rejoicing of our heart. In Psalm 119 verse 14 it says His word rejoices our heart, so when we read it and speak it, and meditate on it, our heart rejoices. How can it not? His word says it and I believe It , because I live it In my everyday life, moment by moment. Now I’m not saying every single minute I’m happy and laughing because tears do flow at times, but as I give It all to Jesus, joy comes in the morning. I believe happiness, joy and rejoicing and bouts of laughter are like waves that flow from the river of life. They are all related from the Giver of life which is the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. The beauty of it all, is when He is acknowledged and actively involved in every aspect of our life all I can say is, what an adventure. Years ago I would never have believed living like this was possible and I cherish every moment I spend with Him. This is my safe and happy place, the secret place of the Most High where I abide under, the shadow of the Almighty. Because of Him I am the woman I am today, He is the reason I am not conformed to this world, but I live according to His word and renew my mind daily. I choose to keep it pure and avoid negative things that could only distract me from His secret place. Now to help you better understand the secret place, its not just about closing yourself In a room to spend time with Him, (although He does welcome that) but there is a place in our heart, mind and spirit where we commune with Him wherever we are or whatever we are doing. Even in a busy lifestyle you can dwell with Him and as you include Him in all that you do, you are blessed and have His favour over your life. It is all a choice we make everyday from the moment we wake up, either we dwell with Him or leave Him alone until we feel it’s right. I honestly believe a lot of people miss out on the abundant life Jesus promised in John 10:10 and maybe because they are not aware that there is so much more. I know for me I’m not at the place where I have arrived because I haven’t, but my desire is to know Him more because I love Him. Let Him lavish His love on you and you won’t be sorry you did.
Closing Thought: Everyone says stay home and it brings to my mind that home is where the heart is. My heart is at home in the presence of the Lord and I don’t mean when I go home to be with Him, but in my everyday life. The home of our heart is where the Kingdom of God dwells. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your own way of thinking. If you do, your mind will take you to fearful places. Don’t let your mind take over, but in all your ways acknowledge the Lord, meditate on His word and He will lead and direct you in everything.
Lord Jesus, Help me to stay in the secret place with You And include You in everything I do Help me to keep my mind on you and Not get carried away with fearful thoughts I love you and want to trust You like I should May Your waves of joy and happiness flood My soul, so I can be kept strong.
