My Prayer

I was driving to work one day in July 1999 and as I pondered my life there was such an aching in my heart and I felt overwhelmed. So much so, that I had to pull over to the side of the road. I didn’t want to go back to where I once was. Tears overflowed and I cried out to God with a deep desire to be different from the women of the world . I wrote a few words down on paper and finished the prayer that night when I got home. Now all these years later the Lord answered my prayer and by His grace, I definitely am a different woman more than I ever imagined and I give God all the glory, honour and praise!! Hallelujah!! ❤️❤️❤️

My Prayer 🙏🏻
I want to stand up and be different
From the women of the world
I want to shine forth Your beauty
To a world that’s grown so cold
Cover my head with Your veil of holiness
Clothe me with Your robe of righteousness
Guide my feet to walk in wisdom
I will raise my hands in worship
I will praise You all day long
I will put my hand in Your hand
For in my heart You placed Your song
As we walk in Your will together, O so close,
Side by side, I will give You all the glory
For You’re my Saviour and my Guide.
