When you think it’s finished and nothing can be done, think again, God can fix it, even when it looks impossible. Just when you think it’s over God steps in and works behind the scenes.
How many times does it happen in your life when you think nothing can be done! Well I have experienced it and to my surprise God wasn’t finished.
We planted a beautiful hibiscus last fall and we were looking forward to some awesome blooms this year. As spring set in we could see a sprout coming up through the ground. Our excitement turned to disappointment when our dog suddenly took a notion to dig it up. We shouted for her to stop but it was too late and what had begun to grow was ruined and we had to throw it out. However a few weeks later to our surprise a tiny sprout peeked out of the soil. Could it be possible there was still hope for it to grow? As the weeks passed it certainly had life whatever it was and before we knew it stems were shooting up and leaves were forming and new hope enlightened my heart. Will we see beautiful blossoms after all?
Well on August 1st little green buds were beginning to take shape.
And two weeks later to my amazement and delight there were two red blossoms the size of saucers dressed in beauty lighting up the garden. But that’s not all, every day since then more blossoms awaken and I must say I have taken great delight in it and take a picture of it every day. Each time I look at it I see the mighty handiwork of God in each intricate part He has created wow…What an inspiration this plant has been to me and I’ve learned from a spiritual point of view sometimes not so nice things happen to us and we feel uprooted and wonder if any good can come out of what looks like an impossible situation. Well, let new hope enlighten your heart because in the midst of it all He is still at work and as you wait on God you will see something new begin to happen and just when you think you lost you’ve actually won. Let God surprise you and work out the impossible for you! So don’t lose heart and watch, with great anticipation what God will do, and it will be greater than you could ever ask or think. Ephesians 3:20
I thank God for this memorable experience and I give Him all the glory and praise!
