Word of Comfort

There are many things people turn to for comfort during a death or difficult time but trust me, they are only a temporary fix. I’ve found a greater comfort in someone beyond any other. Over the years I’ve tried many other methods to no avail and this one thing I know whatever you think works for you, there is something better, or I should say someone greater…In the past week our family experienced the unexpected death of a dearly loved family member. What a comfort Jesus is to me through it all. I read the scripture in Matthew 5:4. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted and He certainly kept His word for each day I have felt such a powerful touch of His presence. He is my Shepherd and He can be yours if you call out to Him. I love Psalm 23 and I have personalized it at different times and I pray these words will comfort you…let this be your prayer as it is mine…

O Lord You are my Shepherd
I need no one else but You, for You are my everything.
You lay me down In Your secret place, a
sweet peaceful pasture I’ve never known before.
I breathe In the beauty of Your love and partake of Your heavenly pleasures. You take me by the hand and lead me through the stillest of waters, My soul is restored as I drift In the glory of Your presence, Im captured In the wonder of It all. Even When I walk through storms of darkness they are just a shadow of the glory yet to be revealed. You are with me all the way so I have nothing to fear. What a comfort to know He defends me and and protects me and I will not be led astray for You keep me sheltered from harm at all times. Your goodness and mercy shall always be with me and as my love overflows for You I follow after You and dwell In Your secret place now and forevermore. Amen

Have a blessed day/evening my sweet sisters and dear brothers and may God keep you safe in His tender care. He is our Shepherd our Healer and dear closest Friend. Whatever you ask of Him I pray you receive, wherever you go, He will be with you, and give you all that you need Amen and Amen Thank you everyone for your prayers, love Jan (Lollita Faith)
