I was inspired by Psalms 103 and out of my heart flowed these words…
I will bless You Lord O my soul; I will bless Your Holy name. All that is within me, I will bless You just the same. Flowers of the field, here today, gone tomorrow, mercies everlasting in times of deep sorrow. You know my frame is as dust in the wind, You are plenteous in mercy, for You know I have sinned. Each sin is removed as far as the east from the west. You remember no more, in Your love I am blessed. I will bless You Lord O my soul; I will bless Your Holy name. All that is within me, I shall never be the same,
I’ll not forget each blessing, Your forgiveness for every sin, in Your healing of all my sickness, in You victories I win. I’m crowned with Your loving-kindness; my life has been redeemed. Your sweet tender mercies is more than I’ve ever dreamed. You satisfy me with good things, my spirit’s renewed each day. Every promise is true for a purpose, You mean every word that You say.
As high as the heavens is above all the earth, So great is His mercy to those given new birth, I will bless the Lord at all times, for there’s no other way. I will bless the Lord with all my heart, I will bless His name every day. Ps. 103
