In 1 Cor.2:16, it says we can have the mind of Christ. Well at first when I read it, I found it hard to fathom and how is it possible to have the mind of Christ? Then the Holy Spirit helped me to understand it.
~Christ’s mind was first focused on the Father to do His will. His mind functioned through the power of the Holy Spirit. His mind followed in obedience to the Father. His mind was filled with Love for His Father and for the world. We will never be perfect till that day when Christ returns, but we can have the mind of Christ if we keep our minds Focused on the Father and let it Function through the power of the Holy Spirit as our minds Follow in obedience, filled with love to do the Father’s will.
~The Holy Spirit takes pleasure in us and transforms us into the image of Christ. I have a new life in Christ through His Holy Spirit. It is no longer I that live, but Christ by His Spirit, now lives in me. Therefore, I am a new person. Old things have passed away, all things become new. Christian character has its secret and sacred roots in our thought life, nurtured and nourished by the Holy Spirit. All else can pass me by for as I draw near to Him, He draws near to me and my heart and my mind are set free. His grace abounds like rivers rushing through my weary soul and I am strengthened by His Spirit to reach the heavenly goal. Nothing shall ever separate or ever come between me and Jesus. Our perfect bond of love is beyond my every dream. There is no one or nothing else that matter besides Him. He excels above all gods; He’s the Truth, the Life, the only Way. {Gal.2:20 11Cor.5:17, John14:6}
