There was a time when my soul was feeling down, and I cried out to the Lord with this prayer. May it inspire your heart when you feel the Lord is distant and you need a fresh touch from Him.
Lord Jesus,
Listen to my hearts cry in these tender moments as tears gently flow from these eyes. Carry me to Your secret place, where I once was. Refresh and revive my weary soul let me see You in the sweetness of Your glory. Let me feel the beauty of Your presence, surround me with Your Love now and always. It’s in these trying moments I thirst for more of You, dry my tears and let me feel your waves of peace overflow
Suddenly,
I am lifted once again in Your marvelous presence, You refresh and revive me, what glory I see, Streams of Your Joy everlasting, spring up from the depths of my soul I arise in Thy infinite power, refreshed, renewed and made whole, I flourish in fruit at Your mercy, forgiven by Your sweet Love and grace. I dive deeper in Your living waters as I dance to Your sweet song of praise. Amen and Amen.
