Shine On

In Proverbs 4:18 it says, The path of the righteous is like the shining sun that shines brighter until that day when the Lord returns. Because of Jesus we can shine on and be the light in the darkness to the world around us. He is our Light and we are graced with His righteousness as we walk in His ways. We once lived in darkness, but He called us out of darkness into His marvelous Light. 1Peter2:9

What a great privilege it is to shine for Him and glorify His name to a world that doesn’t have the hope we have in Christ. We are blessed for our eyes are enlightened to see and we are renewed, refreshed and revived through the power of the Holy Spirit every day as we let Him have His way in our hearts.

I love the scripture the Lord speaks in Isaiah 42:6 “I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness, I will hold Your hand and watch over You, I will appoint You as a covenant to the people and as a light to the nations. And another in Isaiah 60:1 “Arise and shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.” We have the light of Christ shining within us and the glory of the Lord is risen upon us and it also says nations will be drawn to our light. That is exciting so let’s shine on for Jesus and let His glory cover the earth through us. Love & Blessings Lollita Faith

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your shining Light within me.

Help me to live in Your light always

and shine so others may be drawn

to Your Light. Let Your glory in me
